Dogsitter ‘a natural’

Hello Animal Aunts,

We would like to thank you so much for arranging Ione as our lovely Animal Aunt for our new little twelve year old dog Hugo, a Bichon Frise/Maltese Terrier cross.    We were amazed that you turned our request around so quickly.

Hugo suffers from separation anxiety and clearly became extremely upset during a short trial in kennels, so we were pulling our hair out as to what to do when a holiday loomed in a few days.   Luckily we saw your advert in a magazine and jumped at the chance of someone to look after him and our home.

Iona was just a natural with Hugo and it was clear that our little dog took to her instantly too.    It was a great relief to know that he would be loved, cared for and kept safe while we were away.     We can’t begin to describe how relieved we were.

On our returned after two weeks, it was great to come home to find a completely chilled out dog.    We are so, so grateful.       Iona had also looked after our home very well and on top of that made us a lovely meal to come home to.      Could not ask for a better service.     We will definitely use Iona and your services again and have been proud to tell others our story.

 Thank you so much.

Safe and happy with their dogsitter

Dear Animal Aunts,

I wanted to write to let you know how excellent Elizabeth was when she came to us for a fortnight this summer to look after Bugsy our black Labrador and McTed our Scottish Terrier.  Our doggies love having Elizabeth come to stay.  We do too, because we know Bugsy and McTed are going to be safe and happy.  Elizabeth sent us lovely updates and pictures of our doggies.  When we came home they were relaxed and well groomed and looked like they had been on holiday too!

We look forward to seeing Elizabeth again at the start of October.

Best,

- Nicola

The catsitters

Hi Gillie

Just to say that Nicci was amazing yesterday and gave all our babies a wonderful day whilst we were out. Food, lap, access in and out of the garden, games, everything that a furbabe might desire!  She was also great communicating with me during the day. I really hope that we will be able to book Nicci and her husband in future. She said she was happy in principle about Edgar’s injections too.

Thank you so much!

Life is easy with a dog sitter!

Dear Donna

Thank you for once again for arranging for Dave and Rosie to house sit for us and look after Pippin.

As usual they were marvellous.  They, amazingly, just slot into our home and Pippin so excited when they arrive. And we return to our home as if no one else had been here.  It is all so very easy.

They are incredible couple and we have grown very fond of them – rather sad that we usually return early morning after a long overnight flight and are so exhausted the we must appear quite rude and can’t concentrate – all we want is our beds.

We feel rather embarrassed – this is their way of earning yet they have begun to leave us a potted plant and food to get us through for a few days.  Quite unnecessary expenditure on their part, tho very much appreciate.  The pink roses are beautiful and giving us get joy on the window sill.

Thank you yet again Animal Aunts for the very valuable service that you provide.

Kindest regards

Marvellous sheep sitter

Dear Animal Aunts

Just thought I would  send you an email to say how marvellous our aunt, Sue C has been whilst we have been away. She has cared for my sheep really well and has mastered the sheep turner (!) and managed to administer metacam to my three old arthritic girls. She really is worth her weight in gold.

Sheep can be quite tricky animals as they are not very trusting but they obviously now see her as one of the flock!

I have of course thanked her myself but just wanted you to know what a gem she is.

With best wishes
