Thank you for sending Mary to house and pet sit for my niece at B…, I found that she was a former midwife and a delightful person, of course being a former nurse myself we had plenty to talk about, comparing the old days of our times in the profession and what is wrong with modern nursing!

Hi there
I’ve just got back from holiday, and Simone was House sitting and most importantly, looking after my precious flock. As you may recall it’s a fairly complicated sit, in as much as a. There are some fairly complex medication and care needs and b. I’m pretty neurotic about them.
I have to say Simone was amazing; I asked you for someone who genuinely knew and loved chickens not just someone to let them in and out and chuck food at them. And boy, she really does – and she loves wildlife too. I felt confident with her from the start. She combined a really good knowledge of chickens, chicken health with a real love and affection for them. She kept in touch throughout my holiday; sent me vids and pics and updates which meant I didn’t feel so far away from them; and she went above and beyond – cooking them treats and spending time with them; cleaning out their coops and she even picked some flowers and made some food for us for our return – and stripped and washed her bed. I was pretty gobsmacked.
…genuinely knew and loved chickensAnyway, thought I’d let you know how happy I am with your service, but also what a gem you have in Simone. She’s a keeper. Oh, and she’s also unflappable! It really was the first holiday away where I’ve actually felt able to relax and not wanted to come home early – and I’ve used House sitters before!
Dear Seonaid, and of course all the other delightful members of the Animal Aunts team,
It was yet again, with such peace and confidence that we left our home and treasured possessions in the very capable and caring hands of Charles He is such a charming gentleman and handles everything with complete calmness and without fuss which we appreciate, especially after returning home from a long sleepless overnight flight!! Everything was so neat and tidy and a joy to return to.
We appreciated him keeping the regular e.mail contact.
Unfortunately the day before we left there was a leaking plumbing issue affecting the washing machine, causing some inconvenience to David for which we apologise.
The very kindly mowed our lawns which after the rain and then the sudden burst of spring great rapidly – quite unnecessary but greatly appreciated as we both have a very busy week ahead.
The special treats that he left for us were greatly enjoyed – yet again totally unnecessary.
Please convey our very sincere thank you to David for spending the past two weeks in Amersham. We do hope that he will be able to return.

Just a note to thank you for sending John to care for our 2 black labs Alfie and Cooper.
It is the 2nd time John has cared for the dogs whilst we go on holiday. We have been able to relax and not worry about the dogs as he has cared for them to a very high standard. The dogs clearly love John and he is a natural with them. Worth every penny to have them looked after as we would look after them.

Dear Animal Aunts
I just wanted to write to thank you for sending us Mary – she is a veritable animal Mary Poppins! She went above and beyond to help whilst staying here and the cats have made it clear to us since she left an hour ago that they would much prefer that she had stayed instead of us! It’s a hard thing, to meet someone for the first time and then immediately allow them unsupervised access to your home, but Mary made me feel completely confident in her right from the off. She did a marvellous job looking after our little menagerie and took brilliant care of our home. We would like to book her again for a holiday in May and another in late summer and I’ll be in touch as soon as I have dates. Thank you again, it was lovely to meet her and we’re already looking forward to having her back.
Thank you again, it was lovely to be able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about the pets!
